What a cute urban hippie dress this one is! If you've gone thru the majority of our website, you'll notice we have this style under the shorter dresses. This is the longer version, and is full length.
This is china red -- a dark vivid red and it has cream or ecru accents.
First it is midweight rayon, and feels like a midweight drapey cotton. Perf for spring and summer!
The triangle "cups" of the halter dress are gathered at the center where they attach to the trim and they are embroidered in the cream color. All around the triangles of the cups and then at the under bust there is great crochet strip trim with teeny little daisies. This daisy trim strip repeats at the bottom,  as you can see from the picture.
The cups are lined, however, the crochet at the underbust has no lining. The rest of the dress is not lined because of the heavier hand of the fabric. You could wear a half slip if this freaks you out, but if not out in bright sunlight blasting right on you, it should be good to go without.
The embellishments are found at the front of the dress only. The back has 16 rows of teensy soft elastic giving it a ruched effect and perfect fit. These rows total about 8 inches and it starts at the top back and ends just about above the waist.
Of course the halter style straps are plain China Red and those tie at the nape of the neck.
Dress this one up or down but you'll wear it all Summer long! It's a one size fits most and it is made so it probably really will. Check measurements to be sure!
PLEASE NOTE WE TAKE ALL MY MEASUREMENTS WITH THE GARMENT FLAT AND MEASURED ACROSS THE FRONT (unless otherwise noted) so you'll want to double the "across" measurements but then subtract a couple inches for whatever your personal wiggle room is!

Bust: We're giving you a few measurements here, since this style is hard to figure. The triangle pieces only (the china red part) measure 8" each, where they are applied to the underbust trim. And, again, they are gathered so there's some extra room to accommodate bust size. The daisy trim measures 1.5" and this is found on either side of these "cups" or, triangle pieces.
The underbust --and probably the most important bust measurement to be concerned with measures 16.5" relaxed and stretched is 19". (remember there's lots of stretch because of the elastic back).
Natural waist is 20" across
Hips are free but at least 26" or more
Length: From the top of the trim where the straps are attached down measures 64" and then the straps each measure another 26". So you'll gain a bit more length depending on where it's tied. For a gal of 5'6" it should hit you below the ankle-- but again depends where you tie it. Short gal? Take a look at the mid calf version under the "short" dress category.
