FunkyGarb is a small business located near the beautiful Colorado River in Arizona.
Everything you see on this site has been carefully hand-picked. From the very high end to the affordable urban hippie outfits we strive to pick the best and most cutting edge and edgy designs. We travel about every 6 weeks to continually replenish our stock and make sure we have the newest and funkiest styles to offer you.
The lion's share of our items come from 3rd world countries so, with that in mind, please take a moment to read about how these items are manufactured (shown below).
funkygarb operates under the golden rule. We believe we receive what we send out. We do not buy from manufacturers who use any child labor whatsoever and our favorite picks are those that give back to the local community in the form of books, schools, plants and anything concrete that can makes a difference in people's lives. Now, if we could just get them to quit shipping items in petroleum based bags...
Should you decide to shop with us, please take the time to read our return policy prior to placing an order. Make sure the item will work for you if it is on sale since we do not take returns of sale stuff!
3rd World Country Clothing:
We love texture combined with style. Lots of the funky hippie gypsy type stuff we purchase is made in countries that follow old ways of fabric processing and dyeing. What may be considered flaws to the picky folk, should be considered that which gives the garment its character. Expect some slubs, nubs, color incongruities or the like with this clothing. We don't consider these flaws. This is what makes these items one-of-a-kind and gives them character!
We cannot guarantee color-fastness and suggest you hand wash these items in cold. Especially the first time around--in case there is any color bleed. Also, because of the fabric manufacturing and dye process, some of these items have a "loud" odor. Although the bulk of what we sell is rayon and cotton and can be cool water washed, please follow tag directions. Due to some of the fancy beading and just the general workmanship, we can't guarantee cool water wash on everything we sell, so follow the tag instructions for best results. As fans of these pieces, we almost always hand wash in cold, no matter what the tags say!
